Mail Order: How to Get Your Prescriptions from the Safety of Your Own Home

As social distancing continues to be practiced in hope of flattening COVID-19’s pandemic curve, it’s important to minimize trips into highly populated areas such as grocery stores or pharmacies. One way to do this is to use a mail order prescription service to obtain medication without leaving home.

If your members fill their prescriptions through Benecard Central Fill, our mail order facility, we can ensure your maintenance medication is shipped directly to your member’s homes or another address of their choice. Our mail order and specialty pharmacies remain operational as we employ the recommended hygiene and social distancing practices to ensure the safety of our employees and members.

Members can order medication refills from Benecard Central Fill at benecardpbf.com, through our mobile app (found on the App Store or Google Play), or by calling us at the number on the back of their member ID card. We also offer a refill reminder tool in the member portal, where users can select the type of refill reminder they prefer (email, text, or both). Members can obtain up to a 90-day supply of maintenance medications through our mail order pharmacy, and in some cases through retail pharmacies. Depending on the prescription plan, members may be able to save on their out-of-pocket costs when ordering through Benecard Central Fill.

Getting Started With Mail Order at Benecard Central Fill

To get started, members can use one of the options listed below, or ask their retail pharmacy to transfer remaining refills on their existing maintenance prescriptions to Benecard Central Fill.

  • E-prescribe (from doctor’s office only) to Benecard Central Fill.
  • Fax (from doctor’s office only) to 1-888-907-0040. Ask them to include your name, address, and phone number.
  • Call us at the number listed on the back of your member ID card and ask us for help transferring existing prescriptions or obtaining new ones.
  • Mail in an order form. Log into your member account at benecardpbf.com to download a copy of the Mail Order Request Form. You may also be able to obtain a form from your Benefits Office.
