For members of National Vision Administrators, we wanted to highlight NVA’s Smart Buyer®, a proprietary program designed to help members be smarter buyers of eye care and eyewear. Members can take advantage of their vision benefits with three resources – an informative guide with helpful tips and details on eye care and eyewear options, a proprietary provider search tool, and access to a call center team of specialists led and trained by a licensed optician.
- Smart Buyer® Guide: Our member-centric, comprehensive guide is a toolkit members can use to learn more about vision materials. Accessible on our website and mobile app, members can research eyewear options such as coatings and lens materials to learn what may work best for them.
- Vision Benefit Maximizer® Provider Search Tool: NVA’s provider search feature is unlike any other. NVA works with providers to capture their inventory data and analyze how many frames will be available at $0 out of pocket based on the member’s specific plan design. This tool allows members to not only select providers based on location but also based on what will fit their budget better.
- Dedicated Smart Buyer® Specialists: The Smart Buyer Specialist Unit is a part of our call center team that is led by our in-house optician to be able to answer any eye care or eyewear related questions.
